Why Sports Medica?

We spend hundreds of hours researching the benefits of our products, including the best ways for everyone to use them from Olympia athletes to sedentary desk workers.

We also spend a lot of time making sure our customers really understand how each one of our products work and how best to use them.

We have created videos, podcasts and informational pictures to help you use the lacrosse ball. Please get in touch to access these.

We also give a lot of free and heavily discounted products away on those platforms to encourage you to be healthy and perform as well as you can.

Our team have been using traditional methods of myofascial release for years, including foam rollers.

Foam rollers are a useful tool. They can help mobilise your knees before a work out.

But, it doesn’t really break down adhesions as advertised. It is not specific enough.

This is where the lacrosse ball is effective, particularly in hard to work areas such as the pecs, glutes, upper back and neck.

The specific nature of the lacrosse ball also allows you to use pin and stretch techniques on specific muscles. This is much more effective than stretching or foam rolling alone.

If you have any questions, please drop us a message.

✅ POSTURE — The lacrosse ball is the ultimate all-in-one tool when it comes to fixing posture- The pectorals (chest muscles) and TFL are the muscles that become the tightest and are the most common causes of poor posture- A lacrosse ball is the easiest and most effective way of loosening those problem muscles
✅ REHAB TOOL – The lacrosse ball is both simple and extremely versatile- It can be used to loosen muscles, whilst being firm enough to promote blood flow to specific muscles, improving stretch reflexes and lymphatic drainage
